Kwang Lee

Joining the coaching staff for his first season, Kwang Lee was a member of the Falcons 2018 Team Dual State Championship team, while he and doubles partner Dario Rico-Altozano qualified for the CCCAA State Championships. Seeded #15, the two won their first four matches before getting beaten in the semifinals by teammates Kent Hunter and Victory Castro. The duo posted a 20-3 record, while Lee was a combined 25-5 in doubles play. As a singles player, Lee was 15-5 and played in five of the six positions on the ladder.

In his freshman season with the Falcons, Lee went 11-0 in singles and posted a 13-3 doubles record with five different players.

He transferred to UC Irvine after graduating Sunny Hills High, but did not play tennis. Lee then made the move to Cerritos, where he played for two seasons before transferring back to UC Irvine.

While in high school, Lee played tennis for four seasons and was named the Freeway League Most Valuable Player as a senior, while earning all-league honors all four years.

Lee has seven years of coaching experience, which includes Buena Park High (2014-15), Gahr High (2017-18) and Cerritos High (2019-20), while he has coached for a variety of academies for the last five years.

Lee, 23, earned his Bachelors degree in Psychology and Education with an emphasis in After School Learning from UC Irvine in 2019.
