Long Beach Millikan HS: Did not compete on the track and field team… Spent four years on the basketball team and was named All-State, All-CIF and her team’s Most Valuable Player as a senior… Was their MVP her junior season, while receiving the Most Improved Player Award as a sophomore and freshman… Team won the State Championship and CIF Championship her freshman season…..

Personal: Aspires to be a fire fighter… Is the younger sister of Nicholas Armstrong (25), who won the state championship in the decathlon for the Falcons in 2009 and went on to win the Big Wrst Championship in the decathlon at Cal State Long Beach… Nicknamed “Alex”… Also has one sister – Elizabeth (28)… Is the daughter of Lenny Armstrong and Nellie Smith… Born in Paramount, CA on March 25, 1993…..
