Cerritos College Track & Field (2014): Spent the season as a red-shirt…..

Cerritos College Track & Field (2013): Qualified for the Southern California Prelims in the pole vault (2.46 meters) and high jump (1.47 meters) after coming in fourth in the high jump and sixth in the pole vault at the South Coast Conference Championships… Also competed in the 200 meters (29.17 meters), 100-meter HH (16.36), long jump (5.19 meters) and javelin (21.95 meters) during the season…..

Bellflower HS: Named the Suburban League Most Valuable Player after winning the championship in the 100-meter HH (16.57), 300-meter IH (46.7), long jump (17’ 2”) and as a member of the 4x100-meter relay… Also competed in the 100 meters (14.7)… Qualified for the CIF Prelims in each event as a senior and as a member of the 4x100-meter relay team her junior season… Spent four years on the track and field and soccer teams, as well as one season on the cross country and wrestling teams…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was being named the league’s MVP and winning three events… Also went undefeated her senior year… Is working on a minor in chemistry and would like to transfer to UCLA… Aspires to be a veterinarian… Hobbies include surfing and kickboxing and has competed and studied martial arts since the fourth grade, while winning nine straight championships… Nicknamed “Stephie G”… Has two siblings – Kim (32), Chris (30) and Sokhun (30)… Is the daughter of Dennis Grant and Reyna Laxamana… Born in Long Beach, CA on March 16, 1994…..
