Cerritos College Cross Country (2015): Recorded a time of 20:07.7 at the CCCAA State Championships to finish in 69th place, while she took 55th place with a time of 20:39.56 at the Southern California Championships… Her time of 22:39.1 at the South Coast Conference Championships put her in 14th place, while she completed the Brubaker Invitational with a 13th place time of 21:15.2… At the Golden West Invitational, she finished in 36th place with a time of 21:18.6 and took 41st place at the SoCal Preview Meet in a time of 20:51.8… At the Fresno Invitational, she placed 35th in 20:42.0, while she opened the season with a 83rd place time of 21:29.71 at the Mark Covert Open…..

Schurr HS: Was a member of the cross country, track and field and soccer teams… Earned 2nd Team All-Almont League as a senior… While on the track team, she won the league championship in the mile and earned 1st Team all-league honors… Also named to the school’s Hall of Fame and was voted her team’s Most Valuable Player… As a sophomore, she won the league championship in the mile and was named their MVP…..

Personal: Would like to transfer to Cal State Long Beach and aspires to be a physical education teacher… Her aunt Ruby Lopez played soccer and basketball at Rio Hondo College… Hobbies include cooking…Has two siblings – Destiny (22) and Kennedy (12)… Is the daughter of David Garfias and Janet Lopez… Born in Las Vegas, NV on August 19, 1997…..
