Pius X HS: Won the Santa Cruz League championship in the shot put (33’ 4”) and discus (85’) as a senior and junior… Went undefeated in league competition both seasons and qualified for the CIF Prelims… Voted the team’s Most Valuable Player twice and Rookie of the Year her junior year when they won the league championship… Also competed on the soccer team for two seasons…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when she turned in her personal best in the shot put… Is working on a minor in management… Would like to transfer to Cal State Fullerton and aspires to work at Funimation… Hobbies include playing video games… Nicknamed “Jo”… Has one sister – Kathleen (23)… Is the daughter of Mike and Susan Marquez… Born in Glendale, CA on August 10, 1997…..
