Cerritos College Women’s Cross Country (2023): At the 3C2A State Championships, she posted a 67th place time of 20:33.4, while her time of 19:52.2 put her in 40th place at the Southern California Championships… Came in 13th place in a time of 20:20.1 at the South Coast Conference Championships and had a time of 24:29.9 at the 6K Bronco Invitational… Turned in a 35th place time of 20:50.0 at the San Diego Mesa Invitational, while her clocking of 21:21.1 at the Golden West Invitational put her in 13th place… At the SoCal Preview Meet, her time of 20:07.7 put her in 30th place, while she came in 20th place with a time of 20:36.3 at the Oxnard Invitational… Opened the season with a 16th place finish in a time of 21:07.0 at the Fresno Invitational…..

Norwalk HS: While on the track and field team, she specialized in the 800 meters (2:42.59), 1600 meters (5:56.52) and 3200 meters (12:33.2)… Was a member of two San Gabriel Valley League cross country championship teams… Named all-league as a senior and junior and qualified for the CIF Prelims both years… Posted personal best times of 19:34.2 over a three-mile course… Was a member of the cross country team for three seasons and the track and field team for two years…..

Personal: Most memorable moments were when she posted her personal best time in cross country at the St. Paul Classic Invitational and came in third place, as well as her personal best time in the 3200 meters at the Downey Qualifiers Meet… Would like to transfer to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo… Aspires to work in cyber security as a data analyst… Hobbies include painting… Has one brother – Jason (12)… Is the daughter of Erick and Joanna Mejia… Born in Los Alamitos, CA on April 20, 2005…..
