Cerritos College Women’s Swimming (2018): Placed seventh at the South Coast Conference Championships in the 400-yard IM (6:16.83), 10th in the 200-yard IM (2:57.04) and 10th in the 200-yard butterfly (3:02.74)… Also competed in the 50-yard freestyle (32.93), 100-yard freestyle (1:11.63), 100-yard backstroke (1:30.16), 100-yard butterfly (1:29.640, 200-yard freestyle (2:41.42), 200-yard backstroke (3:12.44), 500-yard freestyle (7:15.58) and 1000-yard freestyle (14:34.03) during the season…..
UC Irvine: Attended UC Irvine, but did not compete in swimming…..
Long Beach Jordan HS: Specialized in the 50-yard freestyle (27.7) and 100-yard freestyle (1:00.7), which both set school records… Was voted her team’s Most Valuable Player as a junior and sophomore, while earning the school’s Student-Athlete of the Year honor her junior season… While on the water polo team, she was named 1st Team All-Moore League as a senior and voted their MVP her sophomore year…..
Personal: Would like to transfer to Cal State Long Beach… Hobbies include swimming and volunteering at both Long Beach Memorial Hospital and YMCA… Aspires to be a nurse… Has three siblings – Diana (32), Randy (30) and Stacy (27)… Is the daughter of Amado Madrid and Elizabeth Beltran… Born in Long Beach, CA on August 29, 1996….
