Cerritos College Men’s Cross Country (2023): Recorded a time of 24:06.8 to come in 166th place at the 3C2A State Championships… Finished in 90th place at the Southern California Championships in a time of 22:10.04 after posting a time of 22:59.5 to come in 32nd place at the South Coast Conference Championships… His time of 28:31.3 at the Santa Clara Bronco Invitational put him in 222nd place, while he finished in 84th place at the San Diego Mesa Invitational in a time of 23:17.5… Turned in the fifth fastest time at the Coach Downey Classic with a time of 23:09.7 and was 31st at the Golden West Invitational in a time of 22:37.2… Took 68th place with a time of 22:02.2 at the SoCal Preview Meet, with his time of 22:438.7 put him in 52nd place at the Oxnard Invitational… Opened the season by coming in 68th at the Fresno Invitational in a time of 23:04.0…..

Downey HS: While on the track and field team, he specialized in the 800 meters (2:14) and 1600 meters (4:56)… Posted a personal best time of 17:30 in cross country over a three-mile course… Helped his team win the San Gabriel Valley League title as a junior and freshman… Spent four seasons on the cross country and track and field teams…..

Personal: Most memorable was when he posted his persona best time in the 1600 meters… Would like to transfer to UCLA… Aspires to be a sports medicine physician… Hobbies include traveling and baking… Has three siblings – Xavier (21), Jake (17) and Isaiah (11)… Is the son of Alfred Lozano and Karla Castro… Born in Whittier, CA on June 8, 2005…..
