On Saturday, the Cerritos College men's water polo team opened their season with three impressive wins at the Navy Tournament in Annapolis, MD. Competing in the tournament for the fourth time in the last five seasons, the Falcons opened with a 20-13 win over Salem (WV) International University and then followed that with one of the most impressive wins in school history. Cerritos pulled off a 19-18 overtime win over the host Midshipmen's "B" team in front of a stunned crowd. They concluded the day with a convincing 23-7 victory over Penn St-Behrend College.

The Falcons will play a pair of games in Sunday and will take on McKendree (IL) University at 8:00 p.m. and then finish with a 3:20 p.m. contest against Gannon (PA) University.
