Cerritos College Men’s Soccer (2021): Named 2nd Team All-South Coast Conference South Division… Played in 21 games and made 20 starts and was one of the team’s most solid players on defense… Recorded one assist in a win over Compton College…..

Salesian HS: Played for Cali Rush, Boca and LAUFA club teams… Was a three-time All-Del Rey League selection… Helped lead his team to the State Championship and CIF Championship his senior season… Voted his team’s Player of the Year after accounting for 18 goals… Team won the league championship his sophomore season and was named their Most Valuable Player after being voted their Defensive Player of the Year his freshman year… Recorded 26 goals as a sophomore and posted 10 goals his freshman season… Spent four seasons on the soccer team…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when he scored a hat trick against Lynwood High in the CIF Quarterfinals his senior year… Would like to transfer to UC Santa Barbara and aspires to work in business marketing… Hobbies include bowling… Has five siblings – Kevin (30), Molly (29), Patrick (24), Lizbeth (11) and Erick (15), who is on the soccer team at Salesian High… Is the son of Ernesto and Patricia Vergara… Born in Los Angeles, CA on January 4, 2003…..
