Cerritos College Track and Field (2013): Came in second place at the state championships in the high jump… Won the Southern California Championship and South Coast Conference championship in the high jump (2.07 meters)… Holds the third best height in school history in the high jump (2.08 meters)… Qualified for the SoCal Prelims in the javelin (55.66 meters) after coming in second place at the conference championships… That distance is the fifth best in school history…..

Cantwell HS: Was a four-time 1st Team All-Camino Real League selection in both track and field and football… Won the CIF Division IV championship in the high jump as a senior (6’ 8”) and junior (6’ 8”)… Earned 1st Team all-league honors in basketball as a sophomore… Spent four seasons on the track and field, football and basketball teams…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was clearing a height of 6’ 10” at the Southern California Championships and winning back-to-back CIF championships… Is working on a minor in business administration… Would like to transfer to the University of Mississippi… Aspires to be a college recruiter, coach or athletic trainer… Hobbies include lifting weights and cooking… Has one sister – Jaclyn (21)… Is the son of David and Pat Aguirre… Born on April 11, 1994…..
