Cerritos College Men’s Track & Field (2024): Came in ninth place in the 5000 meters (15:50.75) at the South Coast Conference Championships… Also competed in the 800 meters (2:09.74), 1500 meters (4:18.81) and 3000 meters (9:13.22)…..

Cerritos College Men’s Cross Country (2024): Posted a 92nd place time of 22:34.0 at the 3C2A State Championships after finishing in 52nd place at the Southern California Championships in a time of 22:12.2… Earned a 15th place finish at the South Coast Conference Championships with a time of 21:24.0, while his time of 25:42.4 at the bronco Invitational put him in 65th place… His time of 21:15.0 at the Manny Bautista Invitational put him in 29th place, while at the SoCal Regional Invitational, he took 38th place in 22:27.8… Finished 27th place at the Golden West Invitational with a clocking of 21:44.81, with his time  of 26:00.0 put him in 35th place at the George Kyte Classic…..

Cerritos College Men’s Cross Country (2023): Finished in 103rd place at the 3C2A State Championships with a time of 22:22.6, while his clocking of 21:33.2 put him in 60th place at the Southern California Championships… Was 20th at the South Coast Conference Championships in a time of 22:09.7 and placed 115th in a time of 27:15.2 at the Santa Clara Bronco Invitational… Was 70th at the San Diego Mesa Invitational with a time of 22:52.6, while he checked in with a time of 22:30.0 to place 29th at the Golden West Invitational… Posted a 48th place time of 21:31.2 at the SoCal Preview Meet and came in 51st place in 22:48.4 at the Oxnard Invitational… Opened the season by coming in 63rd place at the Fresno Invitational in a time of 22:58.0…..

California HS: Helped the cross country team win the Del Rio League championship, while he was a two-time All-CIF selection… Earned the Coaches Award as a senior and their Most Improved Award his junior year, while being the captain both seasons… Recorded a personal-best time of 15:58 over a three-mile course….. While on the track and field team, he was a member of two league championship teams, while he placed second two years in a row in the 3200 meters (9:51)… Earned their Most Improved Athlete Award as a freshman… Also competed in the 800 meters (2:08) and 1600 meters (4:41)… Spent four seasons on the cross country and track and field teams…..

Personal: Most memorable moments were when he his performances at the league championships in cross country and track and field… Would like to transfer to the Cal State Fullerton, Cal State Long Beach, Cal State East Bay, UC Irvine or UC San Diego… Aspires to be a business administrator… Hobbies include fishing and playing video games… Nicknamed “Jake”… Has one sister – Samantha (17)… Is the son of Stephen and Rebecca Cosio… Born in Downey, CA on September 13, 2004…..
