Cal State Long Beach: Attended the college, but did not compete in sports…..

Schurr HS: Recorded a personal best time of 17:28 as a junior over a three-mile course… Voted the team’s Most Valuable Player his sophomore season… While on the track and field team he competed in the 400 meters (54.0), 800 meters (2:19) and 1600 meters (5:30)… Spent three seasons on the cross country and track and field team, as well as two with the wrestling team…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when he posted his personal best cross country time at the San Gabriel Valley League Championships… Aspires to be a marine biologist… Hobbies include working out… Nicknamed “Smiley”… Has four siblings – Esteven, Erika, Sergio and Andrea… Is the son of Sergio and Veronica Lopez… Born in Monterey Park, CA on November 3, 2006…..
