Warren HS: Helped the team win the Suburban Valley League championship as a senior and posted a personal best time of 15:34 over a three-mile course… Earned the team’s Most Valuable Player and Persistence Award his junior year and their Best Newcomer Award as a sophomore… While on the track and field team, he won the league championship in the 3200 meters (9:37) as a senior after placing fourth his junior year… Also competed in the 800 meters (2:23) and 1600 meters (4:34)… Spent three seasons on the cross country and track and field teams…..
