Cerritos College Cross Country (2013): Came in 65th place at the South Coast Conference Championships (24:02), while he placed 32nd at the UCLA Double Dual with a time of 30:25.87… Posted a time of 24:10.30 to come in 70th place at the San Diego Invitational, and finished the Lou Vasquez Invitational with a time of 23:40 to finish in 96th place… Placed 49th at the SoCal Preview Meet in 26:57.54…..

Cerritos College Track & Field (2014): Spent the season as a red-shirt…..

Artesia HS: Spent two years on the track and field and cross country teams, along with three years on the tennis team and four seasons on the soccer team… Posted a personal best time of 17:45 as a senior… While on the track team, he competed in the 1600 meters (5:18) and 3200 meters (11:16) as a senior… Earned a Student-Athlete Patch his senior season… Voted the soccer team’s Most Improved Player as a junior…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when he posted his personal best time in the one-mile at the league championships in track and his best time of 17:45 in a three-mile cross country race at the Arcadia Invitational… Is working on a minor in computer engineering… Would like to transfer to Cal State Long Beach and aspires to be a civil engineer… Hobbies include playing video games and drawing… Has one brother – Armando (13)… Is the son of Jorge and Maria Ayala… Born in Albuquerque, MN…..
