Cerritos College Cross Country (2013): Posted a time of 21:57 at the South Coast Conference Championships, while his time of 27:47.26 put him in 27th place at the UCLA Double Dual… Ran the San Diego Invitational in a time of 23:09.80 to finish in 51st place, while his time of 21:47.72 put him in 44th place at the Central Park Classic… Completed the Palomar Invitational in 27th place with a time of 23:37…..

Cerritos College Track & Field (2014): Spent the season as a red-shirt…..

Cerritos College Track & Field (2013): Competed in the 800 meters (2:06.35), 1500 meters (4:14.25), 3000 meters (9:07.74), 5000 meters (15:58.74) and 10,000 meters (35:11.69) during the season…..

Gahr HS: As a senior on the cross country team, he won the district championship and helped the team win the same award… Posted a personal best time of 15:42 over a three-mile course… Was coached in cross country and track by former Cerritos assistant coach Bryan Leighliter… While on the track and field team, he won the district championships in the 1600 meters and 3200 meters as a senior, while being voted the team’s Most Valuable Player and captain… Recorded personal best times in the 800 meters (2:00), 1600 meters (4:29) and 3200 meters (9:49)… As a junior, he finished third in the district finals in the 1600 meters and 3200 meters, while being voted the team’s MVP and captain… Qualified for the CIF Prelims as a sophomore and freshman… Earned the Gladiator Award ad a freshman…..

Personal: Most memorable moments were winning the 1600 meters and 3200 meters as a senior, while helping the 1600-meter relay team come in second place… Would like to transfer to Cal State Fullerton, Cal State Long Beach or Metro State (CO) University… Hobbies include playing video games… Nicknamed “Donaldinho”… Has two brothers – Carlos (21) and Adrian (14)… Is the son of Carlos Lopez and Pilar Mendoza… Born in Pachuca, Hidalgo, Mexico on May 19, 1994…..
