Artesia HS: Voted his team’s Most Valuable Player as a senior after posting a personal best time of 16:30 over three miles and 17:30 in a 5K race… As a junior, he was named the team’s Most Inspirational… Registered a personal best time of 2:14 in the 800 meters, 4:50 in the 1600 meters and 10:50 in the 3200 meters on the track team… Spent two years on the cross country and track and field teams…..
