Cerritos College freshman pitcher Samantha Islas (Roosevelt HS), who went 21-6 during the regular season, was voted the South Coast Conference Pitcher of the Year. The Falcons (30-10), who finished second in the South Coast Conference, also ended the regular season with the #2 RPI strength in Southern California with an all-freshman team. Islas is the first Cerritos player to be named the conference's Pitcher of the Year since Jessica Lozano in 2011 and eighth in the program's history.

Also earning 1st Team recognition were freshman first baseman Richere Leduc (California HS) and freshman third baseman Brooklyn Bedolla (Mayfair HS), while freshman designated player Maddy Guillen (La Puente HS) was a 2nd Team selection. Freshman catcher Vicky Najera (El Rancho HS) was an honorable mention selection.

Along with posting a 21-6 record in the circle, Islas recorded 169 strikeouts in 187 1/3 innings to go along with a 1.31 ERA. Islas also tossed 17 complete games and came on to register three saves in relief. Islas threw eight complete-game shutouts during the season and appeared in five other shutout wins by the Falcons.

Leduc, who leads the team with 42 RBI and is tied for the lead in home runs (4), batted .365 during the regular season and leads the team with 22 walks. She drove in six runs against Los Angeles Harbor College, while going 7-for-12 with 11 RBI over a three-game period late in the season. Bedolla, who also has four round-trippers, batted at a .367 clip with 25 RBI and tied for the team lead with 12 doubles. Also a threat on the basepaths, Bedolla swiped 13 bases during the regular season.

Serving as the team's designated player for the majority of the season, Guillen hit .326 during the regular season and clubbed three home runs with 24 RBI and drew 20 walks. She hit her home runs in consecutive games and drove in seven runs during that streak. Guillen also had a five-game stretch where she went 11-for-17 (.647) at the plate. Najera caught all but three innings this season while batting .323 with 15 walks. Najera also threw out 11 baserunners and had a .989 fielding percentage.
