Now in her sixth season as an assistant coach after spending the 2015-16 year as a volunteer assistant, Monty Washington started her coaching career working with both the Full Package Basketball and All In Athletics programs while in Illinois. A former Falcon (2009-11), Washington was a 2nd Team All-South Coast Conference selection as a sophomore and earned the team’s Defensive Player of the Year both seasons. She received a scholarship to Trinity International (IL) University.

Washington prepped at Long Beach Jordan High and was a 1st Team All-Moore League selection and was named the Most Valuable Player at the Gahr Tournament during her high school career.

In 2015, Washington earned her Bachelor’s degree in Pre-Physical Therapy from Trinity International (IL) University. Washington, 29, is single and lives in Compton.
