Sonora HS: Won the Freeway League championship as a junior and sophomore, while he came in second place as a sophomore… Won the Mater Dei Tournament and John Glenn Tournament at 120 pounds… Spent four seasons on the wrestling team…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when he won the John Glenn Tournament… Aspires to be an MMA fighter… His brother Richard (26) was on the wrestling team at La Serna High… Is the son of Walter and Marisa Perez… Born in Whittier, CA on December 3, 1999…..
