Joining the Cerritos College women's soccer coaching staff for her first season in 2021, Emilee Tominovich will continue to pull double-duty, as she is also an assistant coach at California Marymount University. Since she moved to California after her playing career came to an end due to an injury during her high school career in Maryland, Tominovich has coached at the club, high school, community college and university levels. While at Archbishop Spalding High School in Maryland, Tominovich and her team won the Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland (IAAM) A-Conference championship in 2008 and 2009, and while in her junior year, they were ranked #3 in the country by ESPN Rise and #5 by NSCAA in 2009. A career-ended back injury put a halt to her playing career, but opened the door to get into coaching.

Prior to her high school career, Tominovich played club for Severna Park Rage, as well as the Maryland Olympic Development Program (ODP).

Tominovich's coaching career got started when she spent 2015-17 as the SAC Premier U17 Girls coach in Maryland and helped them to a pair of Maryland State Cup Finalist appearances and an Eastern Regional appearance. She was then the Club Director and coach for AYSO United from 2018-2020. Additionally, in the summer of 2019, Tominovich served as the girls coach for LA West at the JCC Macabbi Games in Atlanta and guided them to the Gold Medal in the International Tournament.

Concurrently during that time, Tominovich served as the junior varsity head coach at Long Beach Wilson High from 2018-20 and led them to a pair of Moore League championships, including a 10-0 mark in 2019. During the 2019 season, Tominovich also served as an assistant coach at Long Beach City College and saw them post a 14-6-0 record, which was their best showing in 10 years. Their season came to an end that year with a playoff loss to Cerritos.

Tominovich has since gone on to serve on the coaching staff of the Cal South Pro U17 & ODP Staff and helped guide the team to the Western Regional Championship in January, 2020 and along with her California Marymount assignment, is also coaching the U17 and U15 Beach Futbol Club teams.

Tominovich currently holds a United States Soccer Federation C License and is a B License candidate. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Catholic University of America in 2014 and a Masters degree in Coaching and Athletic Development from Cal State Long Beach in 2019.
