Entering his third season on the staff is strength and conditioning coach Justin Magallanez. His previous experience includes working with both the New York Jets and New England Patriots of the National Football League, as well as the LA Kiss of the Arena Football League, while his college experience includes the University of Colorado. Magallanez has also spent time working with Rancho Cucamonga High, Bishop Amat High and South Hills High.

As a center while playing football, Magallanez had a tryout with the San Diego Chargers in 2007 after earning All-American and All-Conference recognition at Azusa Pacific University. Prior to that, he was an All-American, All-State and All-Conference pick at Chaffey College, and while prepping at Damien High, he was named All-American, All-CIF, All-Area and all-league. Magallanez also played for AFL 2 team Spokane Shock in 2009.

Magallanez, 35, earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Mathematics from Azusa Pacific University in 2007 and his Master’s degree in Biomechanics from the University of Colorado in 2012.
