Cerritos College Water Polo (2011): Played in 19 games and posted 14 goals, with three assists and 18 steals… Had a season-high two goals in six different games, including ones that included two steals against Los Angeles Trade-Tech College and Modesto College… Registered a season-high four steals against Los Angeles Trade-Tech College and Rio Hondo College…..

Paramount HS: Named the swim team’s Most Valuable Player as a junior… Specialized in the 50-yard freestyle (26.80), 100-yard freestyle (1:03), 50-yard backstroke (30:01) and 100-yard backstroke (1:10)… Earned All-San Gabriel Valley League honors as a senior on the water polo team and was voted their Most Improved Player three years in a row… Spent three years on the water polo team and four seasons on the swimming team…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was being part of the school-record 200-yard freestyle relay team and when she posted a time of 26.8 in the 50-yard freestyle… Would like to transfer to any UC school and aspires to be a nurse at a children’s hospital… Likes to collect postcards from her travels in her spare time… Nicknamed “JA9”… Has one brother – Eddie (13)… Is the daughter of Carlos Loera and Silvia Zuniga… Born in Bellflower, CA on May 26, 1993…..
