Cerritos College Swimming (2014): Set the school record in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:07.40) at the State Championships, where she came in ninth place… Took eighth place in the 200-yard IM (2:14.11)… Earned All-America honors in the 100-yard breaststroke, 200-yard IM and as a member of the 400-yard medley relay (4:17.16)… Also qualified for the state championships in the 100-yard butterfly (1:02.29)… Came in second place in the 100-yard breaststroke at the South Coast Conference Championships, third in the 100-yard butterfly and fourth place in the 200-yard IM

St. Joseph HS: Was a CIF Finalist four straight years in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:09.5) and 200-yard IM (2:15.3)… Also won the Del Rey League championship all four seasons and was named the league’s Co-Most Valuable Player as a senior and junior… Garnered 1st Team all-league honors as a sophomore and freshman… Helped the team win four straight league championships…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when she posted her personal best times at the CIF Championships her junior year… Would like to transfer to either Colorado State University at Pueblo or Cal State East Bay… Aspires to be a nutritionist or dietician… Hobbies include knitting… Has three brothers… Is the daughter of Rob and Paula Loya… Born on July 25, 1995…..
