Southwest HS: High school is located in El Centro, CA… Was a two-time CIF qualifier… Competed in the 50-yard freestyle (32.0), 100-yard freestyle (1:10.0), 100-yard butterfly (2:05.0) and 200-yard IM (2:35.0)… Came in second place in the 200-yard IM at the Inland Valley League Championships… Was also a member of the basketball team and drill team…..

Personal: Most memorable moments were posting her personal best times and coming in second place in the league championships… Would like to transfer to Biola University and aspires to be a business administrator… Her sister Stacy (23) competed in track and field and Biola University… Hobbies include swimming and reading… Nicknamed “Val”… Has another sister – Natalia (10)… Is the daughter of Juan Sanchez and Regina Aleman… Born in Mexicali, Baja California on December 27, 1996…..
