Downey HS: Posted a personal best time of 18:52 as a senior and earned the Coaches Award… Helped lead the team to the San Gabriel Valley League championship as a junior and was voted the team’s Most Outstanding Runner as a sophomore… Spent three years on the cross country and softball teams and two seasons on the track and field team….
