Irvine HS: Was a member of the cross country and track and field teams… Reached the State Championships as a freshman and senior, while she was a CIF finalist four years in a row… Specialized in the 800 meters (2:30) and 1600 meters (5:32)… Was a four-time all-league selection and reached the league finals four seasons in a row…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when she posted a personal best time of 18:71 over a three-mile course as a senior on the cross country team… Would like to transfer to Cal State Long Beach and aspires to be a doctor of natural medicine… Hobbies include singing, composing music, playing the guitar and reading… Nicknamed “Ami” and “Naari”… Has three siblings – Keila, Ayesha and Marlene… Is the daughter of Francisco and Connie Roman… Born in Long Beach, CA on November 1, 1992…..
