Firebaugh HS: Did not compete in cross country… While on the track and field team, she set the school record in the 1600 meters (6:30.6), while she also competed in the 400 meters (1:10), 300-meter hurdles (1:13.48) and 800 meters (3:05.1)… Spent three seasons on the track and field team…..

Personal: Most memorable moments were when she set the school record in the 1600 meters and her performance at the Suburban League Prelims as a senior… Would like to transfer to Cal State Long Beach… Her father played baseball for Cerritos in 1997 and 1999, while her mom was on the track and field and tennis teams at Lynwood High… Hobbies include drawing and playing the guitar… Is the daughter of Peter Alvarez and Darlene Matthews-Dean… Born in Bellflower, CA on December 26, 2003…..
