In a season where the Cerritos College football team finished with an 8-3 record and posted a win in the Golden State Bowl, the team had 11 players receive National Division Northern Conference accolades. Leading the group was sophomore defensive end Alex Jones (Maple Heights, OH HS/Eastern Michigan University), who was named the conference's Defensive Player of the Year. He was one of six players who earned 1st Team honors, while five others received 2nd Team recognition.
Joining Jones on the 1st Team were freshman defensive tackle David Fangupo (Kealakehe HS, HI), sophomore linebacker Aaron Porter (La Habra HS/UCLA), sophomore wide receiver Domonique Young (Dominguez HS), sophomore tight end Ainslie Johnson (Servite HS) and sophomore offensive guard Isheiko Mclaine (Norwalk HS).
