The Cerritos College football team added a pair of Division I signings to their increasing list of sophomores who are moving on to the next level. Wide receiver Domonique Young has inked with the University of Purdue, while linebacker Aaron Porter has signed with Washington State University. The duo were key components to a Falcon team that went 8-3 on the year and won the Golden State Bowl.

Dominique Young has signed with the University of Purdue Young (pictured, left), set new school records with 53 receptions for 939 yards and also added nine touchdown receptions. He had five games with over 100 receiving yards, including a season-high 182 yards on 10 receptions against El Camino College. He was poised to become the first 1,000-yard receiver in school history, but only had 30 receiving yards in the last two games. As for the UCLA transfer Porter, he finished with a team-high 75 tackles, despite missing 1 1/2 games with an injury and was named the MVP of the bowl game. He also had 8 1/2 tackles for loss and 3 1/2 sacks for the Falcons.

Porter was also ranked the No. 45 overall Junior College prospect in the JUCO Top 100 by Rivals.com.

There are 10 more Falcons currently narrowing down their decisions on which university they will sign. Those announcements should be made by the end of the month.
