Now in the second half of the South Coast Conference season, the Cerritos College men's soccer team is currently mired in a losing skid. The Falcons dropped their fourth straight game on Tuesday, as they suffered a 6-2 decision at Los Angeles Harbor College. The loss has the team in fourth place in conference play with five regular season games remaining. They take on first place Mt. San Antonio College on Friday in a 6:00 p.m. game that has now become a must-win situation for Cerritos.

In the loss to the Seahawks, the Falcons scored the first goal of the game, as Mark Sanchez (Westview, AZ HS) scored in the fourth minute. The lead didn't last very long, as LA Harbor responded three minutes later with the game-tying goal. They added two more in a two-minute span midway through the first half to take a 3-1 advantage into halftime.

At start the second half, Cerritos closed their deficit to 3-2 when sophomore Christian Carrillo (Katella HS) scored in the 54th minute. But just like on their first tally, the Seahawks fired right back with an answer, scoring in the 58th minute. They added two more goals, the final one in the 90th minute to close out the scoring. Sophomore goalie Jaime Sanchez (Aspire Pacific Academy HS) was victimized for a career-high six goals.
