Cerritos College Men’s Water Polo (2024): Appeared in 30 games and made 19 starts… Posted 34 goals, with 11 assists and 25 steals… Scored a season-high five goals against Merced College and had four goals against Rio Hondo College… Recorded three goals against Long Beach City College… Registered three steals in two games against Long Beach City…..

Schurr HS: While on the swimming team, he specialized in the 100-yard butterfly (1:04.0) and 100-yard breaststroke (1:10.0)… As a member of the water polo team, he was named the San Gabriel Valley Most Valuable Player as a senior… Posted 20 goals his senior season after scoring 60 goals his junior year… Was named All-CIF his junior year, while earning All-Almont League recognition as a junior and sophomore… Voted his team’s Most Improved Player as a junior… Spent three seasons on the water polo and swimming teams…..

Personal: Most memorable moments were when he was named All-CIF and when he scored seven goals against San Marino High in a CIF Playoff game… Would like to transfer to either UC Merced or the University of La Verne… Aspires to be either a physical therapist or an athletic trainer… Didn’t start playing water polo until his sophomore year in high school… His sister Amanda (24) was a member of the Cerritos swimming and water polo teams… His other sister, Lauren (20) competed in the swimming and water polo teams at Schurr High… Hobbies include painting and bodyboarding… Nicknamed “Chris”… Is the son of Luis Acosta and Sofia Rodriguez… Born in Montebello,  CA on October 21, 2006…..
