Hosting Chaffey College in a South Coast Conference dual meet on Friday morning, the Cerritos College men's swimming team won seven events and posted a 146-116 victory. Next Friday, the Falcons will take on host Long Beach City College and Pasadena City College in another conference dual meet.

Freshman Aiden Parra (California HS) won a pair of individual races for the Falcons on the day, as he posted a time of 1:09.76 to win the 100-yard breaststroke, while teammate Ruben Martinez finished with a second place time of 1:12..32. The two also took the top two places in the 200-yard breaststroke, with Parra (2:34.42) and Martinez (2:35.35) earning more quality points for Cerritos.

In the 100-yard backstroke freshman Leo Mora turned in a first place time of 1:01.65 and edged freshman teammate Ben Neppl (Long Beach Millikan HS) and his second place clocking of 1:02.19. Sophomore Johan Gaytan (Downey HS) earned a first place in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:27.93, with freshman Isaiah Wright (Whittier HS) winning the 200-yard IM with a clocking of 2:21.25. Cerritos took first and third place in the 50-yard freestyle, as Diego Campos (Downey HS) won the event in 23.41, with Mora in third place at 24.44.

The foursome of Nick Chieng (Downey HS), Christian Acosta (Schurr HS), Mora and Campos ended the meet by winning the 400-yard freestyle relay in a time of 4:19.21, as the Falcons posted the top three times in the race.

Gaytan also finished second in the 200-yard freestyle (2:00.27), while other second place finishes went to Acosta (52.38; 100-yard freestyle), Mora (5:49.87; 500-yard freestyle) and Lucero (1:04.50; 100-yard butterfly). Jacob Jreisat (Downey HS) also came in second place in the 1000-yard freestyle, while the 200-yard medley relay quartet was edged out of first place by less than a second (1:52.22) and consisted of Neppl, Parra, Acosta and Tripp Johnson (Kennedy HS).
