Cerritos College Men’s Swimming (2024): Competed in the 100-yard freestyle (56.97), 100-yard backstroke (1:04.36), 100-yard butterfly (1:06.42), 200-yard freestyle (2:03.40), 200-yard backstroke (2:23.95), 200-yard IM (2;26.60), 500-yard freestyle (5:21.15), 1000-yard freestyle (11:39.74) and 1650-yard freestyle (19:04.16) during the season…..

Cerritos College Men’s Water Polo (2024): Named 2nd Team All-South Coast Conference… Appeared in 29 games and posted 38 goals, with 16 assists and 16 steals… Scored a season-high four goals against Mt. San Antonio College and finished with three goals against El Camino College… Had at least two goals in 11 games… Finished with three goals, two assists and two steals against the Air Force Club Team…..

Cerritos College Men’s Water Polo (2023): Played in 26 games and finished the season with 16 goals, nine assists and 11 steals… Turned in a season-high three goals against Merced College, San Diego State Club and El Camino College… Assists on three goals against Army and had a pair of steals against Army and Sierra College…..

Downey HS: While on the swimming team, he competed in the 50-yard freestyle (25.0), 100-yard freestyle (55.0), 200-yard freestyle (1:59.0) and 500-yard freestyle (5:20.0)… Helped his team win the CIF Championship as a senior and was also named 1st Team All-CIF and 1st Team All-San Gabriel Valley League… Voted his team’s Most Valuable Player… Spent four seasons on the water polo and swimming teams…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when he scored five goals against Redlands High… Would like to transfer to Cal State Long Beach… Hobbies include playing water polo, playing soccer and video games… Nicknamed “Gohan”… Has one sibling – Santiago (3)… Is the son of Juan and Sendy Gaytan…..
