Downey HS: Swam a leg of the CIF State Champion 4x50-yard freestyle relay team as a senior… Specialized in the 50-yard freestyle (22.1) and 100-yard freestyle (50.9)… Earned the Junior Swimmer of the Year his junior season and their Most Improved Swimmer Award as a freshman… Spent four seasons on the swimming team…..

Personal: Most memorable moments were posting the school’s second best 4x50-yard freestyle relay time, as well as his personal best times… Would like to transfer to USC, Claremont College or UCLA… Aspires to be a Certified Public Accountant… Hobbies include listening to music… His brother Jacob (17) is on the swimming team at Downey High… Nicknamed “Nick”… Is the son of Charles and Evelyn Chieng… Born in Norwalk, CA on July 5, 2005…..
