Downey HS: Ran a leg of two consecutive 4x400-meter relay teams that won the Suburban League Championship, while they also won the league title in the 4x100-meter relay as a junior… Helped the team win three consecutive league titles… Also competed in the 100 meters (11.37), 400 meters (50.0) and won the league title in the pole vault (12’ 5”)  twice… Posted a personal best time of 18:50 while on the cross country team… Spent three years on the track and field team and one year with the cross country team…..
