Valencia HS: Voted his team’s hurdles and jumps Most Valuable Player as a senior, as well as earning All-CIF and all-league recognition… Received Scholar-Athlete Award… Won the Empire League championship in the high jump (6’ 2”), while he finished third in the 110-meter HH (15.3)… Qualified for the CIF Prelims after he took second place at the league championships in the high jump and 110-meter HH his junior year, as well as coming in third place in the 300-meter IH… Captured the league championship in the high jump and 110-meter HH his sophomore year… Was a member of the track and field and soccer teams…..
