Cerritos College Cross Country (2015): Posted a time of 27:08.2 to come in 83rd place at the Brubaker Invitational and record a 168th place time of 28:18.2 at the Golden West Invitational… Finished with a 100th place time of 26:32.7 and turned in a time of 33:13.27 to come in 143rd place at the Mark Covert Open…..

Cerritos College Track & Field (2016): Competed in the 1500 meters (4:29.88), 3000 meters (9:47.03), 5000 meters (17:01.83) and 10,000 meters (37:05.87)…..

Gahr HS: Posted a personal best time of 17:47 over a three-mile course during his senior season… Helped his team win the San Gabriel Valley League championship and advance to both the CIF Championships and state championships… Spent three years on the cross country and track and field teams… Specialized in the 800 meters (2:12.0), 1600 meters (5:07.0) and 3200 meters (11:30.0)… Was coached by former Falcon assistant coach Bryan Leighliter…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when he turned in his personal best time at the Woodbridge Classic Invitational… Gave his high school’s graduation speech… Would like to transfer to Cal State Long Beach and aspires to be a physical therapist… Hobbies include running and drawing… Nicknamed “Super Steve”… Has one brother – David (22)… Is the son of Henry and Barbara Anker… Born in Los Angeles, CA on January 6, 1997…..
