Cerritos HS: Received the Golden Don three seasons in a row…Voted into the school’s Hall of Fame… Helped the team win the ABC District championship two years in a row… Was a three-time 2nd Team All-Suburban League selection and qualified for the CIF Prelims in track and field as a senior and junior… Posted a personal best time of 16:07 over a three-mile course in cross country… While on the track and field team, he specialized in the 800 meters (2:14), 1600 meters (4:43) and 3200 meters (10:17)… Spent three seasons on both teams…..
