Capistrano Valley HS: Was a two-time state meet qualifier, while he won the Master Meet his senior year after placing sixth as a junior… Won the CIF Championship two seasons in a row, while he was a four-time South Coast League champion… Placed fourth at the CIF Championships his sophomore season and was a qualifier as a freshman… Spent four seasons on the wrestling and track and field teams, while he played football for two years…..
