Cerritos College Wrestling (2019): Spent the season as a red-shirt…..

Cerritos College Wrestling (2018): Posted an 19-12 overall record, which including going 16-10 at 125 pounds and 3-2 at 133 pounds… Qualified for the CCCAA State Championships and dropped both matches… Placed fifth at the Southern California Championships… Went 3-2 at the Fresno City Open at 133 pounds and took sixth place… Came in fourth place at the Santa Ana Tournament, tied for fifth place at the Cuesta Tournament and went 1-2 at the West Hills Tournament…..

Warren HS: Qualified for the Master’s Meet as a senior after coming in second place at the CIF Championships at 126 pounds… Won the title at the Brea Tournament and was named the MVP of the tournament… Voted his team’s Most Valuable Player… Took eighth place at the CIF Championships at 126 pounds his junior year… Placed seventh at the Tournament of Champions… Spent four years on the wrestling team…..

Personal: Most memorable moments were advancing to the CIF championship match and coming in seventh place at the Tournament of Champions… Would like to transfer to either San Francisco State University or UC Irvine… Aspires to work in the pharmaceutical industry… Hobbies include going to the beach and swimmer… Participated in taekwondo for three years and was also a swimmer and water polo player… Nicknamed “Josh”… Has two siblings – Isaac (30), who played water polo at Aliso Niguel High and Saddleback College and Kaleb (19)… Is the son of Chris and Alexia Angulo-Bertrem… Born in Laguna Niguel, CA on July 12, 2000…..
