Cerritos College Wrestling (2020): No season was held due to Covid-19…..

Cerritos College Wrestling (2019): Won the CCCAA State Championship and the Southern California Championships at 125 pounds… Named All-American and 1st Team all-conference at 125 pounds… Posted a 22-1 season record… Avenged his only loss of the season at the state championships with a 3-2 win over Fresno City College's Mario Moreno… Captured the championship of the West Hills Tournament and Santa Ana Tournament… Won his lone match at the Menlo College Open before an injury forced him to default out of the tournament…..

Downey HS: As a senior, he finished sixth at the National Tournament after coming in third at the State Championships and winning the Master Meet and CIF Championship at 106 pounds… Was a four-time 1st Team All-CIF selection, four-time San Gabriel Valley League Champion and voted the CIF Most Valuable Player as a senior and junior… Won the USA National championship and state championship as a junior and also finished second at the Masters Meet… Became the first wrestler from his high school to win a state title… In his sophomore year, he won the CIF championship and finished third at the Masters Meet, while he took fifth at the CIF Championships his freshman season… Team won the state title as a freshman…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when he won his first state championship… Nicknamed “Jon”… Has four siblings – Ashely (25), Sidney (20), Melissa (18) and Michelle (13)… Is the son of Marcelo and Alma Prata… Born in Beverly Hills, CA on February 25, 2000…..
