Warren HS: Specialized in the shot put (10.60 meters) and discus (32.1 meters)… Won the San Gabriel Valley League championship in the shot put as a junior… Spent two seasons on the track and field and rugby teams…..

Personal: Most memorable moments were when she posted her personal best marks at the league championships… Would like to transfer to UC Irvine and aspires to be a military police officer in the Marines… Her brother Gilbert Herrera (29) was a member of the Cerritos track and field team in 2015, while her cousin April Cano also competed for the Cerritos track and field team in 2015… Another cousin, Dorienne Ordaz was on the Cerritos track and field team in 2013-14… Hobbies include karaoke, going to the gym and watching horror movies… Is a volunteer for a non-profit youth organization for the Young Marines… Has two other siblings – Kimberly (36) and Samantha (33)… Nicknamed “Dee-Dee”… Is the daughter of Fred and Trisha Bocanegra… Born in Bellflower, CA…..
