Running back Elijhaa Penny (Norwalk HS/College of the Sequoias) played only one season for Cerritos College, but he made the most of it, as he was named the Northern Conference Offensive Player of the Year. Penny was one of four Falcons to be named 1st Team all-conference, while 11 others earned 2nd Team honors after the team concluded their season with a 7-4 record and defeated Grossmont College, 64-33 in the Western State Bowl.

Joining Penny as a unanimous 1st Team selection were sophomore center Robert Chism (Downey HS) and sophomore defensive tackle David Moala (Serra HS), while sophomore offensive tackle Zachary Taves (Long Beach Wilson HS) joined them on the 1st Team. Earning 2nd Team recognition on defense were sophomore defensive linemen Kisione Pale (Mayfair HS) and Pauli Taumoepeau (Buena Park HS), linebackers Josias Amisone (Carson HS) and Anthony Carrion (St. John Bosco HS), as well as cornerbacks Jerry Smith (Mayfair HS) and Aaron Williams (Dominguez HS/Northern Arizona University) and punter Osborn Umeh (Mayfair HS). Offensively, sophomore tackle Dixxon Diaz (Norwalk HS), freshman guard Giovanni Chanes (Kealakehe, HI HS), sophomore wide receiver Ricky Carrigan, Jr. (Cabrillo HS), sophomore quarterback Cody Clements (La Habra HS/Washington State University) and sophomore tight end Tyler Carrillo (St. Paul HS) received 2nd Team recognition.

Penny rushed for 1,138 yards and 20 touchdowns on the season, with his yard total the second most in a single-season behind Darrell Thompson's 1,527 in 1991. The rushing touchdowns is the most in a single-season and he also added a receiving touchdown. Against Palomar College, Penny ran for 262 yards, which is also the second most in a game behind Jermaine Whiten's 308 yards in 2002 against College of the Canyons. The quartet of Chism, Taves, Chanes and Diaz helped the Falcons rack up 32.6 points a game and 4,399 yards on the season. Clements finished the season completing 144-of-277 passes for 1,953 yards and 16 TDs, along with 198 rushing yards and two more touchdowns. His passing total is the seventh-most in a season in school history, with Carrigan hauling in a team-leading 35 passes for 653 yards and three touchdowns. The two paired up on a school-record 94-yard touchdown pass on the first play of the bowl game. Carrillo, who was a solid blocker, pulled in six passes for 68 yards.

David Moala was a unanimous All-Conference pick Defensively, Moala anchored the defensive line and finished second on the team with 55 tackles, along with eight tackles for loss, four quarterback sacks, seven quarterback hurries, two forced fumbles a fumble recovery and an interception. He was named the team's Most Valuable Player in the bowl game. As for Pale, he had 28 tackles and 2 1/2 tackles for loss and a team-leading 10 quarterback hurries, with Taumoepeau posting 37 tackles, six tackles for loss, a team-high five sacks and seven quarterback hurries. He scored on a 53-yard fumble recovery against Grossmont in the bowl game. Amisone led the team with 60 tackles and missed one game due to an injury, while Carrion missed a pair of games with an injury, but still contributed 48 tackles, 4 1/2 tackles for loss and two quarterback sacks.

Smith finished the season with 24 tackles and a pair of pass breakups, while he was the team's top kick returner. He brought back 10 punts for 221 yards and two touchdowns, including a 90-yarder in the bowl game, while his 15 kickoff returns for 360 yards (24.0 average) also led the team. Williams had 24 tackles and led the team with five interceptions, including a stretch of four games in a row and also returned three kickoffs for 90 yards. Umeh, who was an all-conference selection as a freshman, averaged 39.5 yards and planted 11 punts inside the opponent's 20-yard line.
