For the upcoming NCAA Bowl season, there will be five games that will have former Cerritos College players who will be participants. Leading the way is senior offensive tackle Fou Fonoti, who will lead #4-ranked Michigan State in the Rose Bowl, while senior quarterback BJ Denker and the University of Arizona will play in the AdvoCare V100 Bowl. Also playing in a bowl game are senior defensive linemen Alauna Finau with Kansas State University in the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl, and Eli Edwards in the New Mexico Bowl with Colorado State University, along with junior offensive lineman Sean Rubalcava with #20-ranked Fresno State University in the Las Vegas Bowl.

Fonoti, who returned to the starting lineup after missing last year with an injury, he has helped the Spartans to a 12-1 record and a Big-12 championship. They will be taking on #5-ranked Stanford (11-2) on January 1 in a great match-up. As for Denker, he has led the Wildcats to a 7-5 record while completing 215-of-357 passes for 2,241 yards and 14 TDs. Additionally, Denker is second on the team with 898 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns, as Arizona is poised to face Boston College (7-5) on December 31 in Shreveport, LA.

Finau has appeared in all 12 games for the Wilcats (7-5), who will be taking on the University of Michigan (7-5) on December 28 in Tempe, AZ. He has posted 20 tackles, three tackles for loss, along with a pass breakup, quarterback hurry, forced fumble and fumble recovery. Edwards has been in the starting lineup in eight of the 12 games for the Rams (7-6), as they prepare to face Washington State University on December 21. He has recorded 28 tackles, along with 3 1/2 tackles for loss and three quarterback hurries. Although he hasn't played a whole lot, Rubalcava is a part of an 11-1 Bulldogs team that is ranked #20 by the BCS and will be in uniform on December 21 when they take on USC (9-4).
