With their 9-0 win over visiting College of the Desert on Thursday afternoon, the Cerritos College men's tennis team moved into sole possession of first place in the South Coast Conference. The Falcons (13-1, 4-0), winners of their last 11 matches, will remain ranked #2 in Southern California when the next ITA poll is released. The team's lone loss this season was to #1-ranked Irvine Valley College. Cerritos will now host NCAA Division III Case Western Reserve (OH) University, who is 6-1 on the season. They will play at 3:00 p.m. next Tuesday.

Playing their first of six straight home matches, the Falcons breezed through their win against the Roadrunners, who only had five players, which resulted in forfeits in the #6 singles and #3 doubles matches.
