Bellflower HS: Did not compete in swimming in high school… Was a member of the track and field and cross country teams for four seasons… Placed second at the Long Beach Festival as a senior after coming in third in the Suburban League championships… Named the team’s captain as a senior and junior....

Personal: Most memorable moment was being named the captain two years in a row… Hobbies include working out… Nicknamed “Ames”… Has two siblings – Mario (22) and Alexandra (10)… Is the son of Berta Luz Zaldivar…..
