Cerritos College Swimming (2011): Came in ninth place in the 200-yard breaststroke at the South Coast Conference Championships in a time of 2:26.69, while he came in 12th in the 400-yard IM (4:54.69) and 15th in the 200-yard IM (2:15.77)… Also swam the 100-yard freestyle (56.40) and 200-yard freestyle (2:00.56)…..

Santa Fe HS: Finished fourth in the Del Rio League Championships in the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:26.69… Spent four years on the swimming team, three on the water polo team and two with the wrestling team… Was an all-league honorable mention selection as a senior on the water polo team…..

Personal: Has two siblings – Kristin (26) and Kimberly (23)… Is the son of Sandra deWinstanley…..
