Cerritos College Water Polo (2012): Named
2nd Team All-South Coast Conference… Finished the
season with 40 goals, along with 13 assists and 41 steals…
Had a season-high four goals and added three assists against Navy,
while he had a season-high five steals against Grossmont…
Posted two goals in 13 games and had three steals against Rockford
(MI) and two steals in nine other games… Recorded a
season-high three assists against Occidental College…..
Cerritos HS: Specialized in the 200-yard freestyle (49.0),
100-yard backstroke (56.0) and 200-yard IM (2:04) on the swimming
team… Was a three-time 1st Team All-Suburban League
selection in water polo, while he also received the Coaches Award
three years in a row… Voted the team’s Most Improved
Player as a senior…..
Personal: Most memorable moment was when he scored four
straight goals in the fourth quarter against Los Osos High and then
assisted in the game-winning goal… Is working on a minor in
real estate… Would like to transfer to UC Santa Barbara and
aspires to be an accountant… Likes to play basketball in his
spare time… Nicknamed “Green Iguana”… Has
one sibling – Ji Soo… Is the son of Young Hoan and Kum
Sun Kim… Born in Seoul, Korea on April 4, 1994…..
