Downey HS: Scored 28 goals and posted 17 assists as a senior… Helped the team reach the CIF Semifinals two years in a row… Spent four years on the water polo and swimming teams… Reached the San Gabriel Valley League finals four years in a row… Specialized in the 50-yard freestyle (22.1), 100-yard freestyle (50.0) and 50-yard butterfly (25.4)… Earned three medals in each of his senior and junior seasons…..

Personal: Would like to transfer to Cal State Long Beach and aspires to be a counselor… His brothers David (24) and Chris (21) played water polo at Downey High… Hobbies include playing video games… Has one sister – Gabby (27)… Nicknamed “Nick”… Is the son of David and Loretta Apodaca… Born on August 28, 1997…..
